AUCKLAND KINDERGARTEN ASSOCIATION

Delivered across three Auckland Kindergarten Association sites in Morningside, Whenuapai and Meadowbank, these projects reflect a long-standing partnership spanning more than 15 years and over 75 completed projects with AKA. Each centre was designed to create warm, engaging early learning centres tailored to their surrounding communities, balancing simplicity, efficiency, and functionality with thoughtful spatial planning.

A strong emphasis was placed on passive design principles, incorporating natural light, ventilation, orientation, and summer cooling to support comfortable and healthy learning spaces year-round.

Generous outdoor areas featuring vegetation, sand, and natural play elements encourage exploration and interaction, creating bright and welcoming environments that support both early learning and everyday functionality.
