Occupying a prominent corner at one of New Zealand’s busiest intersections, this project involved the full transformation of an existing warehouse on Clark Street into a bold new retail environment for Animates. Lanta delivered a comprehensive building upgrade, retaining only the original roof structure while modernizing the remainder of the facility.

The works included significant structural, fire compliance, and civil foundation upgrades, requiring careful coordination throughout construction. Designed to establish a strong visual presence, the redevelopment introduced a vibrant and highly recognizable identity aligned with the Animates brand.

The completed project delivers a durable, functional and contemporary retail space positioned to serve a high-volume commercial location.
