WOOLLEN MILLS

The former Onehunga Woollen Mills underwent a comprehensive seismic strengthening and refurbishment, restoring a significant heritage landmark on Princes Street. Lanta delivered a full structural upgrade, including the installation of internal steel portals to enhance performance while preserving the building’s historical character.

The project also included a complete external upgrade and careful restoration of the original archways, ensuring key architectural features were retained and enhanced. Over 150 years old, the revitalised mill is now strengthened to modern standards, positioning it to serve the community for generations to come while celebrating its rich industrial heritage.
