8 TANGIHUA STREET

This project involved the extensive refurbishment of the ground floor, lobby, and basement areas within a commercial building in Auckland’s CBD. Spanning approximately 2,000 sqm, the works included major demolition, seismic strengthening, and passive fire upgrades delivered within a complex live environment.

The redeveloped spaces introduced a new F45 gym, Gloria Jean’s café and modern commercial office tenancies, revitalising the building’s street presence and shared amenities. Careful staging and coordination were essential to minimise disruption to existing occupants while maintaining safe building operations throughout construction.

The completed upgrade delivers a modern and highly functional mixed-use environment suited to both commercial tenants and public users.
